A case of allegations of religion conversion came to light from Godhra where locals allege that some Christian families from outside came for a birthday party and involved in conversion. However police started investigation based on the written application.
As per details given by Himala Joshi DySP Headquarter Godhra, on Tuesday night around 9.40 pm they received a call at 181 from a residential society in Godhra about some alleged religious activities carried out in a birthday party. The police team reached the spot and brought the people to the police station where the locals gives a written complaint.
Based on the complaint we are now investigating to take statements of both the parties who are putting allegations and those who denied. Action will be taken after the findings, added Joshi.
