Vadodara Karelibaug police arrested a garba organiser for violation of covid guidelines by gathering more than 1000 people inside the venue. He was also not taken police permission to organise garba and booked under IPC section 188 and disaster management 2005 section 51.

Conditional approval was given by the state government for the celebration of Navratri festivals in societies and pols with social distance and other rules. However a case of covid rules violation during garba night came to light in Vadodara on the second day of Navratri. The organiser also not took the police permission to organise the event.

As per details, the Garba was organized at a common plot near Muktanand crossing on Friday night. The organizer Kamlesh Govindbhai Parmar gathered a large number of people at the venue Khailayas gathered in Navshakti Garba Mahotsav. Meanwhile, Karelibaug police who were on patrol seeing the crowd and went to the spot. They started inquiring about Garba's permission and found that the administrators did not have the permission. Not only that, during this epidemic period the administrators had gathered about a thousand people to play Garba without permission.

The organiser was booked for organise garba without any police permission garba and booked under IPC section 188 and disaster management 2005 section 51.
