Funding cleared for 82 projects in Gujarat

Quoting the Reserve Bank of India Bulletin 2022-23, the state government said on Sunday that banks and financial institutions have continued to back Gujarat in funding development projects.
A statement issued by the state government said that Gujarat secured the first place with 82 projects backed by banks and financial institutions followed by Maharashtra with 48 projects and Uttar Pradesh with 45.
The statement said that with a 14% share of investment, Gujarat ranks second in attracting funds for projects from banks and financial institutions in 2022-23.
This achievement will prove beneficial for the state ahead of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, as the state prepares for the mega business and investment summit, the statement said.
