Free petrol and diesel coupons to people following traffic rules while driving on Vadodara roads

Vadodara police joined a unique initiative into their Traffic Champ campaign to improve and strengthen the traffic management in the city. They have decided to felicitate the traffic champs with 100 rupees free petrol coupon.

Traffic Champ campaign was launched in the city with an aim to spread awareness in people to observe traffic rules and be a champ by saving their own and others life. Under this campaign the police teams felicitate the people observing traffic rules in public to motivate others. Now a unique initiative is started by the them to felicitate the champs with petrol and diesel coupons.

"Under this new scheme our team will choose the traffic champ and a 100 rupees free petrol coupon will be given to them. These are sponsored by Petrol Pump Associations and Oil Marketing Companies. They will be checked for their actions at traffic signals and following the rules like wearing helmets, seat belts, engine off at red signal and others. Everyday we plan to give fifty coupons to Traffic Champs. The aim is to strengthen the traffic management and present a model before others to follow,"said Dr. Shamsher Singh Commisioner of Police Vadodara.
