On Doctor's Day, a final year medical student of MBBS at Baroda Medical College hanged himself in his hostel room for unknown reasons. Raopura police have started an investigation into the incident.
As per available details, originally from Rajasthan and studying in the final year of MBBS at Baroda Medical College, Diparam Champalal Jingar (25) hanged himself inside his hostel room with electric wire for unknown reasons.
According to police sources, Diparam committed suicide in Room No. 25, Block-B, New Medical Hostel, Baroda Medical College, before 6 pm on Thursday.
After the incident, Raopura police reached the spot and took further action in the matter. Police took possession of the body and placed it in a coldroom for postmortem. They launched a thorough investigation to find out the exact reason behind the suicide. Police registered a case of suicide and initiated further action.
