Under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav of the 72th Independence Day will be celebrated all over the country. The district level Independence Day celebrations in Vadodara city will be held in the presence of Pradipsinh Jadeja, Minister of State for Home Affairs. He will hoist and salute the national flag.

The celebration will be held on Sunday at the Western Railway Police Parade Ground, behind Kuber Bhavan, Vadodara. Corona Warriors will also be honored and greeted on the occasion. Along with this, the minister and dignitaries will plant saplings at the venue. Police jawans will salute the national flag amidst the national anthem.

A rehearsal and demonstration of the program was held on Saturday at the Western Railway Police Ground under the guidance of District Collector RB Barad. This year too, Independence Day will be celebrated according to the standard operating procedure pertaining to Corona.

District Development Officer Dr. Rajendra Patel, Superintendent of Police Sudhir Desai, Resident Additional Collector DR Patel, Deputy District Development Officer Shweta Rathore, officers, police officers, police personnel were present in the rehearsal program.
