A family in Vadodara put allegations on the SSG hospital for baby change. They demand demand DNA test and took the police help in this matter. However the hospital authorities have denied the allegations and said to investigate the matter.

As per available details, Shakunta Malla lives with her family in Subhanpura area of ​​the city and have four daughters. She was admitted to Rukmini Chainani Maternity Home of SSG hospital by 108 ambulances in the morning due to labor pains. The family decided to shifted to Sayaji Hospital for delivery as private hospital were demanding more money.

Her husband Mahendra Malla said, the hospital staff informed about the birth of baby boy and after sometime they were informed about her wife had given birth to a baby girl. The family alleged that the hospital system had exchanged the child and they demand DNA test of the baby. They also seek help of police in this matter.

However Head of Maternity Department, Dr. Ashish Gokhale said, No one has informed him about this incident and he came to know through the media. Very few deliveries were made last night so it is not possible for the baby to change. The nurse or doctor at the time will be questioned and a thorough investigation will be carried out into the whole matter. This incident is also investigated by the Raopura police.
