Keeping in view the recent cases of fire and smoke coming out of running trains on Indian Railways, an Electricity Safety Seminar was organized by the Electricity Power Department of Vadodara Division at Divisional Railway Manager's Office.

In this seminar, Divisional Railway Manager Amit Gupta, Additional Divisional Railway Manager AK Singh, Senior Divisional Safety Officer, Rajkumar Ambigar, Assistant Divisional Safety Officer Amit Ranjan, Assistant Electrical Engineer Apoorva Sitoke and Senior Section Engineers of Electricity Department and Safety consultants also participated in the seminar.

According to Senior Divisional Electricity Engineer Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, keeping in view the recent cases of fire in the coaches of running trains.

The discussion on adopting protective measures and measures to prevent these accidents was also the main goal of this seminar. 

According to him, the causes of fire and smoke in the coaches can be removed by suitably improving the maintenance works. A power presentation was also shown in this regard.

In this seminar, DRM Amit Gupta and ADRM  AK Singh also asked railway workers to be proactive instead of reactive in their daily work and advised the frontline employees living in their approach to keep them active and aware.

He said that all of us can prevent accidents only by being aware and alert.
