Gujarat carried out a major vaccination drive on Sunday to improve coverage of both regular and booster doses against Covid-19.
Dr Nayan Jani, state immunization officer, said that in the 18-plus years population, coverage of both doses is now about 99%.
"Due to the vacations, inoculation in the younger population is a bit slower. However, the drive on Sunday across Gujarat is aimed at identifying beneficiaries for regular and booster doses and to provide them," he said.
