Gujarat State Yogasan Sports Championship started at Kayavarohan
Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State for Home Affairs inaugurated the Gujarat State Yogasan Sports Championship at Lakulesh Mahadev Temple in Kayavrohan.
He said that the children and youth of Gujarat will shine not only in Gujarat and the nation as well as in international level in coming days. Due to the efforts made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Yogasana, the youth turned to yoga. Giving Yogasana a new height globally, the demand for Yogacharya has increased worldwide and these youth will teach yoga in other nation. The culture of the nation is yogasana and it helps in maintaining the fitness.
The Minister added that all the necessary work for yoga activities would be done by the Sports and Cultural Department. He wished the children and youth doing yoga to reach new heights of success.
The Minister honored 84-year-old Yogacharya Jadeja with a bouquet of flowers. Former Sports Minister Mahendra Trivedi introduced the institute and spoke about the activities of yoga.
The children worshiped Ganesha through yogasana and performed some asanas before the dignitaries. The function was attended by office bearers and officials including MLA Shailesh Mehta.
