Celebration of 50th anniversary of 1971 Indo Pak war

Swarnim Vijay Varsh was celebrated at Air Force Station Jamnagaron 06 and 07 August 2021 to commemorate 50 years of 1971 Indo-Pak War. 'Swarnim Vijay Varsh Victory Flame' was received at Station Museum by Air Commodore MS Deswal, Vayu Sena Medal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jamnagar and Air Commodore (Retired) SS Tyagi, Vayu Sena Medal, senior most War Veteran at Jamnagar.

A two minutes silence was observed for the martyrs and the 'Victory Flame' was forwarded to INS Valsura. Display of dummy missile systems was organized at Air Force Station Jamnagar on the occasion. A fly past was performed by three helicopters and slithering operations were also demonstrated by IAF Garud Commanders.
