The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday appointed new presidents for its Vadodara and Anand district units following resignations of the incumbent chiefs.
Meanwhile, the leaders who have been holding two posts have begun to tender their resignations from one of those posts.
Former MLA Satish Patel has been given the reins of Vadodara district, while Ajay Brahmbhatt has been made the Kheda district unit president, said the party release.
Brahmbhatt replaces Vipul Patel who was elected the chairman of Amul Dairy earlier this month, while Vadodara district president Ashwin Patel cited personal reasons while seeking to be relieved of the post.
The development comes a week after Paatil appointed the new unit heads for Banaskantha, Devbhumi Dwarka, Amreli and Surendranagar districts.
