On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Nirvana Day, both Bharuch district BJP and Congress commemorated the legacy of the architect of the Indian Constitution with floral tributes.
December 6, observed as Mahaparinirvan Day, marks the death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.
The Bharuch district BJP organized a tribute program at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar near the railway station. Senior leaders including MP Mansukh Vasava, Bharuch MLA Ramesh Mistry, BJP district vice president Divyesh Patel, general secretary Niral Patel, and Scheduled Castes Morcha leader Kanu Parmar were present alongside other party workers.
They honored the memory of Dr. Ambedkar and his contributions to nation-building.
Simultaneously, the Bharuch District Congress Committee paid homage at their office with a floral tribute to a replica of Dr. Ambedkar.
The event was led by District Congress President Rajendrasinh Rana, City Congress President Harish Parmar, and leaders like Salim Ahmedabadi and Zubair Patel.
Several Congress workers participated in the ceremony, reflecting on Dr. Ambedkar's enduring impact on Indian society.
Both events emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s pivotal role in shaping the Constitution and his dedication to social justice and equality.
