Bharuch: Burnt human skeleton found in sugarcane field near Karad Village

The police have launched an investigation to uncover the mystery behind the incident.

Following a similar case in Bakrol, Ankleshwar, this is the second instance in Bharuch district where human remains have been found in a sugarcane field.

Laborers working in the field spotted the skeleton and immediately informed local authorities. Upon reaching the scene, Jangaria police recovered a bag, clothes, and slippers near the remains.

Initial forensic examination of the skull has begun to help identify the victim.

A preliminary police inquiry suggests that the remains might belong to a girl from the local village who has been missing for three months.

However, authorities have stated that only a detailed investigation will confirm the identity and circumstances surrounding the death.
