Bharuch: Attempted robbery at jewelry shop, all three robbers caught

The incident of robbery attempt took place at Sundaram Jewelers, a shop in Shree Niketan Complex infront of Inox, located on Zadeshwar Road in Bharuch. The shop owner opened the shop as usual and was sitting on a chair outside the counter. At this point three young men entered the shop. Before the jeweler could understand, a young man grabbed them from behind and started beating them.The robbers fled as the Jeweler started shouting and the people around came running. Jeweler also fall while chasing robbers.

After the incident, there was a rush on Tulsidham Road.A robber who escaped from a jewelers' shop was speeding near Tulsidham, was caught. The other two escaped robbers were cordoned off and police teams were dispatched immediately. Within hours, police nabbed the three robbers. The accused have been brought to C Division police station and are being questioned.

A few months ago, a robbery was also carried out at gunpoint from Ambika Jewelers in Panchbatti area of Bharuch city.
