A horrific accident has taken place between an eco car and a truck on Jambusar-Amod road in Bharuch, in which 7 people died on the spot.
The deceased include two women, two children and two men. The other 3 injured are under treatment. Jambusar police have reached the spot after being informed about the accident.
Relatives of Vedach Panchkada and Tankari villages of Jambusar taluka of Bharuch district were going to a procession at Bharuch Shuklatirth in their eco car number GJ -16-AU 6225 when the car collided with a truck parked on the highway near Magnad.
The screams of the people sitting in the Eco in the accident caused the people around to come running.
The accident was so horrific that 6 out of the 10 people in the car died on the spot.
While four other people were seriously injured and were immediately shifted to Jambusar Referral Hospital for treatment through 108 ambulance.
While the injured person died tragically on the hospital bed during treatment, thus the death toll reached 7. While the other 3 injured have been referred to Vadodara for further treatment.
As soon as the accident was reported, Jambusar Police Inspector A.V. Panmiya along with his staff reached the spot and started relief work. While Deputy Divisional Superintendent of Police P.L. Chaudhary, Jambusar MLA D.K. Patel rushed to Jambusar Referral Hospital.
As soon as the accident was reported, a crowd of people gathered at the hospital. The dead and injured in the accident were pulled out by cutting the car body. The dead included 3 men, 2 women and 2 children.
