Flight 6E 784, scheduled to depart at 4:20 PM, was halted after a large swarm of bees settled on the aircraft’s luggage door, preventing ground staff from closing it. The incident led to temporary confusion among airport personnel and the operating crew.
Initial efforts to disperse the bees using smoke proved ineffective. The fire brigade was then called in and managed to drive the swarm away by spraying water.
Passengers onboard remained seated during the episode and reported discomfort and suffocation due to the prolonged wait inside the aircraft.
The situation was brought under control within an hour, and the flight later took off without further issues.
