In a late-night raid, Bopal police, under Ahmedabad Rural jurisdiction, apprehended nine individuals for consuming alcohol and possessing liquor during a musical dance party held at Club O7’s basement on Sindhu Bhavan Road.

Officials conducted checks in the basement of Club O7 using breathalysers, which confirmed the consumption of alcohol by six of the attendees. Three others were found in possession of liquor.

Seized items from the premises included–Three bottles of English liquor are worth ₹3,050, one beer tin worth ₹200, five mobile phones worth ₹ 1.05 lakh and three luxury vehicles, including two BMW and one Honda City, collectively valued at ₹ 7.50 lakh. The total value of seized assets stands at ₹ 8.58 lakh.

Multiple offences have been registered under the Gujarat Prohibition Act, additional charges were filed against Hemal Sunilkumar Dave, the organiser of the party, for operating the event beyond permissible hours and violating public notices.

Further investigation is underway, and police have indicated that more arrests may follow if additional violations are uncovered.
