Divya Prajapati (27), a 3ft tall artist, who sold 40 of her artworks when the world around her was battling with the pandemic.

A resident of Jahangirpura area, Prajapati suffered 75% retarded growth disability since her childhood and uses a wheeled-table to assist her in walking around the house. 

She rarely moves out of her home. Not being able to continue further studies after class XII owing to limited earnings by her tailor father, Prajapati continued to hone her passion in drawing and painting. 

"Three years ago, I decided to become a professional artist. I posted my works on social media and people started appreciating it," Prajapati told source's. 

She said she took online courses during the lockdown to improve her skills and gradually sharpened her expertise in charcoal and graphite portraits.

Prajapati's mother is a housewife while her civil engineer brother is self-employed. Father Amrat Prajapati said that the family never suggested her to work or earn, but wanting to be independent she started professional art work.
