Army jawans provides gift of life by donating blood in AhmedabadOn the occasion of the World Blood Donor Day, Golden Katar Division at Ahmedabad organised a blood donation camp at Military Hospital, Ahmedabad on 14 June 21.
Due to Covid pandemic, there is a shortage of blood in the blood banks. To offset this shortage, Army in coordination with the Civil Hospital and BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, has once again come forward with a motto of 'Nation First' and arranged donation of more than 200 units of blood by volunteer Army troops and their families.
Dr Nidhi, Head of Blood Transfusion at BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad thanked Indian Army for this initiative and mentioned that Army has always been at the forefront with the civil administration in these difficult times.
