Ankleshwar city police nabbed two vehicle thieves near Surwadi gate and 19 stolen bikes were seized from them.

Ankleshwar city police station staff was on patrol when two bikers passing by near Surwadi bridge were stopped on suspicion. As both the bikes did not have number plate, the police demanded the required documents but they denied of having them.

Police searched the engine and chassis number of the bike they had in E. Gujkop Mobile Pocket Cop and found the bike to be stolen. Upon further interrogation by the police, he confessed that he had hijacked the bike from Bridge Nagar, Ankleshwar.

The accused were identified as Naeem alias Sanu Iqbal Sheikh of Hinglot and Mohammad Uzair Abdul Sheikh of Sarvodaya Nagar, Ankleshwar, police said. A total of 19 stolen motorcycles have been seized from both the smugglers and legal action has been taken.
