Since COVID pandemic has had a terrific negative impact on various sections of the society, AIS Friends joined together to contribute for a noble cause.
On 23rd June 2021 AIS friends initiative which is a voluntary team formed and run by the employees of AIS business solution Pvt Ltd organised an event to provide grocery kits weighing around 50kgs, to 160+ coolies of the Vadodara Junction Railway station. Due to limited or no passengers, the coolies of the Vadodara junction railway station have no income and hence facing extreme difficulty to manage their bare necessities in terms of finding a decent meal for themselves and their families.
Mayor Keyur Rokadia, Member of Parliament, Ranjan Bhatt & DRM of Vadodara Division Indian Railways Amit Gupta graced the occasion.
Started 4 years ago, AIS friends initiative, have been conducting a series of philanthropic activities to serve the society with utmost dedication and sincerity. From the time the second wave hit Vadodara, volunteers have been distributing cooked meals every single day for over 400 people. The organisation also had set up hot air steaming centers, in 10 different locations in Vadodara. They also have distributed hundreds of ration kits to homeless and out of job daily wage laborers in Vadodara's poorest communities.
AIS friends initiative have also planned to distribute around 1500 sets of neatly pressed used clothes to the destitute and homeless, collected from their employees.
