Air India's domestic operations temporarily shifted to T1 at Ahmedabad airport

According to an advisory issued by the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad, all domestic flights operated by Air India will operate from Terminal 1 starting 20 April – Thursday.

The airline’s international operations will continue from the Terminal-2 as per schedule, confirmed sources.

The decision to move the airline’s domestic operations is temporary and has been enforced as the international terminal is under renovation and is due to develop into an integrated terminal and the work is expected to be completed by next year.

Some six Air India flights depart from SVPI airport to Delhi, Mumbai and Pune every week including three daily flights.

Besides, six flights operated by the airline arrive at the city airport every week from these destinations.
