Ahmedabad records 21 Covid cases, active cases at 142
Across Gujarat, there were 229 positive cases with the discharge of 36 patients
The city on Wednesday recorded 21 new Covid cases, accounting for half of the state's 40 cases. With the discharge of 28 patients, the active cases in the city reached 142.

The other cases included 7 from Vadodara city, 6 from Vadodara district, 1 each from Surat and Gandhinagar cities, Bharuch, Mehsana, Patan, and Surat districts.
None of the active cases were on ventilator, said state health department officials.
Gujarat on Wednesday administered 28,992 vaccines including 12,435 precaution doses, 10,375 second doses to 18-plus population, and 3,589 second doses to 12-14 years age group.
