Ahmedabad airport’s departure terminal gets a revamp

The departure area of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is going through major revamping to enhance passenger experience and increase security hold area owing to rapidly growing passenger traffic.

The expansion at level 1 in the security hold area will add to facilities and amenities to meet the fast-growing traffic demand.

The baby-care room and Smoking lounge will also be revamped as part of ongoing work.

The renovation and expansion of the first floor at T1 is likely to be completed in three months to get a fresh and modern look.

However, some essential services will be available to passengers within one month.
