Ahmedabad: Air fares soar, hotels full as I-Day weekend nears

A quick monsoon escapade over the extended weekend of August 12-13 will cost at least 50% higher than usual as hotels are nearly full and air fares to domestic and international destinations have skyrocketed. 

Many hotels are witnessing a double-digit increase in booking inquiries.
