200 teenagers, girls and women joined the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav cycle rally in Vadodara

The Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities of the Government of Gujarat is organizing various sports and adventure programs in various districts through the District Sports Training Centers as part of the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.

As part of SAG Vadodara District Sports Training Center in collaboration with the Vadodara Cycling Association organized a cycle rally attended by 200 teenagers, young girls and women. Earlier 80 boys had joined the men's cycle rally and in comparison, the girls joined on Saturday are more than double the number and showed great enthusiasm for the celebrations.

Dr. Hitendra Patel, Chairman, Standing Committee, Vadodara Municipal Corporation, local councillors and Ajay Ingle of Cycling Board flagged off the rally from the District Sports Complex on Waghodia Road.

The entire program was organized by Pragati Krida Mandal, Maharashtra Krida Mandal, Swami Vivekananda School, Karate Association as well as Trainer and Senior Coach Jayesh Bhalawala. He had earlier organized district level races as part of this celebration.
