15 injured in collision between bus and container near Bhaniyara village on Vadodara Halol road

Around 15 people were injured in a tragic accident took place between a luxury bus and container near Bhaniyara village on Vadodara-Halol road. The passengers trapped in the accident were safely evacuated by the fire brigade and sent to the hospital. The fire brigade had to use a gas cutter to pull out the driver trapped in cabin of the bus.

According to the information received, a luxury bus carrying passengers from Halol to Vadodara collided head-on with a trailer near Bhaniyara village on Vadodara Halol Road early morning on Thursday. Sleeping passengers recieved injuries after hit the seats and some of them fell down as their bus collided with a thud. Employees of nearby petrol pump and villagers from Bhaniyara village rushed to the spot and began rescuing the trapped passengers.

Meanwhile, the incident was reported to the fire brigade and the troops rushed to the spot. As many as 15 passengers trapped in the bus were evacuated and sent to Sayaji Hospital in 108 ambulances. In addition, the fire brigade rescued the driver Shahrukh Qureshi (resides in Madhya Pradesh) who was trapped in the cabin of the luxury bus in the accident using a gas cutter and rushed him to hospital.

All the injured are from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh as Waghodia police registered the case and further investigating in the matter.
