SSG hospital in Vadodara celebrate Vaccination Navratri to mark the national achievement of 100 crore Corona vaccination. Doctors, nurses and paramedical staff play garba with vaccine, masks and sanitisers in their hands to show the importance of these things for safety against Corona. They also distribute sweets to celebrate the occasion.
Assistant Professor Dr. O. B. Belim said, the corona vaccine has been given to the hospital for the last 10 months and those who have not taken it are asked to get vaccinated to save their lives. A total of 35,000 people have been vaccinated with the first and second doses at this centre. 20,000 people have taken the first dose and 15,000 people have taken the second dose.
Pallavi Parmar and Sapna Shah of the nursing staff have been engaged in the vaccination work since day one and vaccinated members of the royal family of Vadodara, the then ministers, MLAs, office bearers and senior officials of the administration and police.
There have been zero positive cases of corona in Vadodara for the last two days. Wards of more than 700 beds are closed. This has been made possible by the efforts of dedicated vaccinators, Government of India and the state government for providing regular doses to the centres.
