Gujarat chief Minister Vijay Rupani will virtually inaugurate the state of art bus station at Waghodia on Friday. Built at the cost of 226 lakhs by Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation at Waghodia in Vadodara district, the station will have ultramodern facilities for the passengers.

An advanced bus station has been constructed in the area of 13365 square meter. Out of which construction has been done in 562.46 square meters of land. The bus station also has a waiting hall with seating arrangement for passengers including platform, administrative office, control room, canteen room, parcel room, pass office, cash booking office, stall cum shop, driver conductor rest room, female conductor rest room and toilet facilities for passengers. In addition, special types of toilets and sloping ramps have been set up for persons with disabilities. Approximately 1000 passengers will benefit from this bus station every day.

Divisional Director, ST Vadodara, Mr. Matroja said that Waghodia Depot handles 295 trips on 33 schedules including local and express.

Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel, MLA Madhubhai Srivastava, office bearers and officials will be present at Waghodia during the inauguration.
