    The Gujarat ATS team arrested dreaded Hitubha Jhala from Vadodara on Sunday. The team caught him from near Rhino circle near Sarabhai campus and said to be seized pistol from his possession.

    The ATS team arrested Hituba Jhala of Shanala in 2019, the mastermind behind the murder of Morbi’s sensational Mushtaq Mir and attack on his brother Arif Mir, and sent to Sabarmati Jail. He was taken into police custody from Ahmedabad to be produced in court as there was a date in the Morbi court in firing case. On the way near Dhrangadhra, Hitubha Zala evaded the police and escaped from custody.

    The incident took place in October 2019 and Hitubha Jhala has since been declared a fugitive and police launched a search for him. Meanwhile, the ATS team, on a tip-off, picked up the dreaded Hitubha Jala from a white Fortuner car parked near a reputed restaurant near Sarabhai Campus today. An ATS team searched the car and found more than one pistol in his possession along with cash. Two other people were also said to be arrested.
