GSFC Vadodara started oxygen supply for medical purpose to city

Vadodara will get 10 tonnes of oxygen supply daily from GSFC

GSFC, Vadodara has started diverting Oxygen meant for its industrial use for the Medical purpose in city. OSD Dr. Vinod Rao said, they will likely be getting close to 10 Tonnes daily from GSFC to meet the increasing demand of about 130 Tonnes a day.

Dr. Rao said, Since two days GSFC had started supporting our Oxygen needs by using its Air Separation Unit in Caprolactum plant to supply Liquid Oxygen for Dura Cylinders. On Thursday for the first time GSFC filled Liquid Oxygen in a tanker. This will make transportation and distribution easier.

Against the daily need of about 150 Tonnes of Medical Oxygen GSFC is likely to supply about 10 Tonnes a day.
