Govt convenes all party meeting to ensure smooth transaction of business in budget session of Parliament

The Budget
session of Parliament will begin tomorrow. Government has convened an all party
meeting today to ensure smooth transaction of business in the both Houses of
Parliament.

Sources reported
that an all party meeting has also been convened by the Lok Sabha Speaker Om
Birla today.

During the
meeting, the Speaker will seek the support of different political parties for
the smooth conduct of business in the Lower House. Rajya Sabha Chairman M
Venkaiah Naidu is also scheduled to hold an all party meeting tomorrow.

The first
phase of the Budget session will begin with President Ram Nath Kovind’s address
to a joint session of both the houses.

The Economic
Survey will also be tabled tomorrow and the Budget will be presented on
Saturday. The session will continue till 11th of next month.
