Gotri Covid hospital celebrate new year with Corona patients

While we were celebrating the New Year with the whole family, the doctors and health workers of the corona department of Gotri Hospital were taking care of the patients. They decorate the ward with balloons, lights along with rangoli and celebrate the New Year with patients of Corona. MLA Jitubhai Sukhadia who is undergoing treatment also applauded the Corona Warriors for their gesture. The patients also talked with their relatives through video calling.

The doctors, nurses, health staff and servants on duty in the hospital’s Covid ward are taking care of the patients putting their lives at risk. On the other hand they also

ensure to make them feel at home by celebrating the festivals with them. On new year they decorate and illuminated the Corona ward observing New Year’s precautions. The unique celebration was organised by Administrative Nodal Officer Dr. Sheetal Mistry and also joined by Dr. Vijay Shah to increased everyone’s enthusiasm.

As an additional step of good luck, the patients under treatment were given a unique gift by interacting with their relatives through video calling. At present MLA Jitendra Sukhadia is also undergoing treatment for corona in this government hospital. He also applauded the auspicious gesture of solidarity with the patients and the family like celebration.

Dr. Sheetal Mistry said, Patients are like their relatives and they are doing the duty of their families when they are away from their loved ones on this auspicious occasion of the new year. The entire staff including doctors, health workers and servants decorated the ward with colorful lights, balloons and flowers to make them enjoy the New Year.

The services of Corona Warrior were decorated with Rangoli at the entry and sweets are distributed to celebrate the day. All of them wished everyone a speedy recovery.
