Parul University run Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College entered into a prestigious MoU with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH)

City based Parul University run Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College entered into a prestigious MoU with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) under the initiative of linking education and clinical practice with research. The MOU completed at the two-day international convention organised on April 9-10, 2019 by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an autonomous research organisation, Ministry of AYUSH on the occasion of the World Homoeopathy Day at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.

The MOU’s were signed with PG Homoeopathic Colleges with an effort to link education with research. The vision behind the agreement is to provide impetus to research infrastructure which in turn further orient the students towards research.

“The council is taking this as an opportunity to review the path trodden so far, taking stock of the challenges faced and to formulate future strategies for development of homoeopathy. There is an imminent need to focus on improving the quality of education and enhancing the success rate of an average practitioner.

There is also a need to ensure the production and availability of high-quality homeopathic drugs in the market”, said Dr Parul Patel, Vice President and a Homoeopath, Parul University.

Dr. Jyoti Pandya, a homeopath and Ex-Mayor, VMC and Sunilbhai Mehta, President, Akhil Bharitya Baudhhik, RSS visited the University campus for a talk with the Homoeopathy students. “Ahmedabad Homoeopathic Medical College, an Institute under Parul University also signed this MoU with CCRH last year. Homoeopathy is right there in the foundation of the health care system of our Country and it is a proud privilege to contribute in the field of homoeopathy with 400 Under Graduates and 42 Post Graduate students graduating from PU every year”, said Dr Komal Patel, Paramedical Director, Parul University.
