Former councillor of Karjan Municipality tried to immolate himself along with his family

Mentally frustrated with RTI’s by activist Mahesh Shah

Its a tense situation at the Karjan Taluka Seva Sadan office when a former Karjan Municipality councillor tried to immolate himself along with his family. The on duty policemen however stopped the immolation bid and detained all of them.

Former councillor Bhikabhai Thakarda reached Karjan Taluka Seva Sadan office along with his family for immolate themselves. He was mentally frustrated by numerous RTI’s by activist Mahesh Shah and that affected his business and the family is passing through bad times.

Bhikabhai threaten to immolate along with his family against the suffering and reached there soaked with kerosene. However the police already standby there caught them before they try anything serious. Later they were taken to the police station where officials control the situation after talked to them.
