Opens as per Odd and Even method following the Covid 19 guidelines

Biggest vegetable market in Vadodara started from Thursday after closed down for more than two months due to lockdown in the city. The market opens as per Odd and Even method and traders start their business following the Covid 19 guidelines.

The famous Khanderao vegetable market started buzzing from 11 June 2020 after closed for last 85 days due to Coronavirus epidemic. The decision was taken on Wednesday after a presentation by the trade association to the Municipal commissioner and the Mayor. It is to be noted that this market located on Rajmahal Road is a wholesale market where small and big traders as well as citizens comes to buy cheap vegetables and fruits.

The market starts from Thursday after closed for the last 85 days and opened on the basis of Odd Even method. Only yesterday, Vadodara Municipality gave permission to start the market and as promised the Vegetable traders wore masks over their faces and draw circles to observe the social distance in the market. Around 200 traders did business and marked right and cross inside the market to follow the guidelines.
