Fight between student unions in MSU Baroda over the issue of paying homage to the martyrs

A scuffle broke between student unions in MSU Baroda on Tuesday over the issue of paying homage to the martyrs. Chaos erupted inside the university campus following the clashes and vigilance department rushed to the spot and control the situation.

As per available details on Martyr’s Day today a wreath-laying ceremony was organized by the student organizations of the university to Shahid Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Rajguru at the unit building by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and AGUS. The issue of offering first wreaths to the martyrs took a ugly turn and both the organizations resort to fight. A chaos create over the place as other students ran for safety.

Vigilance personnel rushed to the spot before the matter escalated between the student unions and dismissed the crowd. The incident was reported to Sayajiganj police and a team rushed to the spot and control the situation.
