Famous search website ‘Torrentz’ shuts down

One of the world’s largest torrent search websites shutdown on 5th August.

Torrents today announced its shutdown after 13 years of service. The website has compeletely disabled its search functionality and removed all the torrent links.

Earlier in the month of July, the United States had shutdown torrent files provider Kickass Torrents and arrested its alleged founder for copyright infringement.
