Young leaders visiting India under ICCR's Gen-next Democracy Network relishing the cultural activities. On Tuesday the delegation visited Faculty of performing arts and experience the rich culture. The highlight of the evening was drumming performance by Rhoda Crawford youngest Member of Parliament of Jamaica.

The delegates from Bhutan, Jamaica, Malaysia, Poland, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania and Uzbekistan are visiting India under Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Gen Next Democracy programme. The young leaders are here to see the functioning of Indian democracy and culture by visiting different states and cities. On Tuesday the delegate reached Vadodara and experience the rich culture at nearly 135 years old Faculty of Performing Arts.

"It's an effort to spread the knowledge exchange about India's democracy and culture to other countries through this delegation. After visiting Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi the delegation is in Gujarat since Sunday. On Tuesday they visited the historical Faculty of Performing Arts and experience our rich culture and heritage. This is their first visit to the cultural city and we are privileged to welcome them, " said Jigar Inamdar Regional Director ICCR.

The highlight of the evening was drumming performance by Rhoda Crawford youngest Member of Parliament of Jamaica. "The evening was beautiful and I enjoyed the cultural programme at the Performing Arts. I won several medals in drumming and drama and this has been a great evening for me.
