It seems the makers of Yash's much-anticipated Toxic aim to reach maximum eyeballs. It has been revealed that the team is shooting the big-budget entertainer in Kannada and English simultaneously, leading to longer shooting schedules.
The news has been confirmed by entertainment outlet Variety. In a statement, writer-director Geetu Mohandas said they have envisioned a film with "a narrative that resonates with both Indian and global audiences."
Bankrolled by Yash's company Monster Mind Creations and Venkat K Narayana's KVN Productions, the film will also be dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The team recently released a first-look teaser footage that gave fans a glimpse of Yash's look in the film.
The film boasts an international technical team that comprises action choreography veteran JJ Perry, known for his work in films such as Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and a couple of John Wick films.
The visual effects is handled by the firm Double Negative (DNEG) which contributed to some high-profile projects such as Christopher Nolan's Inception, Tenet, and Interstellar, and Denis Villeneuve's two Dune films and Blade Runner 2049.
