Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on October 6. Kapoor has been summoned in connection with the Mahadev online betting app case.

The ED is probing the attendance of the Bollywood celebrities at the wedding and success party of Mahadev app promoter, Sourabh Chandrakar, in UAE, in February this year.
At least 15-20 celebrities including Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Azgar, Vishal Dadlani, Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Elli Avram, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Pulkit, Kirti Khabanda, Nushrat Bharucha, Krishna Abhishek are under the scanner in relation to the case.
The online betting platform is being looked into by the ED and police departments of several states.
Searches are being carried out in Kolkata, Bhopal and Mumbai in relation to money laundering being carried out in connection with the Mahadev Online Book App, headquartered in UAE.
Operations have been carried out to siphon off proceeds from betting to offshore accounts.
