The creators of the acclaimed film HanuMan have announced their next ambitious venture – Maha Kali.

Unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Durga Saptami, the film is set to be India's first female superhero film, shattering stereotypes and redefining beauty standards in the industry.

Director Prasanth Varma, the visionary behind HanuMan, took to social media to share the exciting news.

The first poster, a captivating image of a young girl touching her forehead to a tiger's, set against a backdrop of divine light, an iron bridge, and a temple flag.

The film's story is inspired by the legendary Goddess Kali, known for her ferocious power and unwavering determination to destroy evil.

The makers promise that Maha Kali will be the "most ferocious superhero in the universe," a true embodiment of the goddess's indomitable spirit.

At the helm of this ambitious project is director Puja Aparna. With Maha Kali, Aparna aims to create a cinematic experience that is both empowering and awe-inspiring. The film is set in the picturesque state of West Bengal, adding a touch of regional authenticity to the narrative.

Riwaz Ramesh Duggal of RKD Studios is the film's producer, while Prasanth Varma himself has penned the screenplay.

The music will be composed by the talented Smaran Sai, known for his work on RX 100, and the production design will be handled by Sri Nagendra Tangala.
