Mamta Kulkarni resigns from the post of Mahamandaleshwar

Last month, Mamta Kulkarni participated in the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj where she was announced as the Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhada, following her intense spiritual journey.

However, the post given to the former actress, who was once known for her bold choice of roles, did not go down well with the community with the decision inviting immense wrath from other from many.

Now, on Monday, the actress shared a video on social media where she opened up about her own spiritual journey.

However, Mamta continued to insist that she didn’t want to create more chaos and have voluntarily decided to step down from the honour she was given by the Kinnar Akhada.
