Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency, has announced that she will quit Bollywood once she wins the seat.

Kangana, in a recent interview with Aaj Tak, admitted that she considers the film world to be "fake" and she will quit once she wins the elections.

BJP candidate Kangana is up against Congress's Vikramaditya Singh, belonging to the 'royal' family and son of six-time CM Virbhadra Singh. Mandi constituency will go to polls on June 1.

During the campaigns, Kangana has attacked the Congress-led government over stalling the developmental projects and cheating the people of Mandi. 

She promised that her main agenda would be to restart all the stalled projects besides improving connectivity to remote tribal areas.

He had promised the people of Mandi to make the place a smart city.

In the 2022 assembly polls, the BJP had won 12 assembly seats falling under Mandi parliamentary constituency.
