One of the most eagerly anticipated movies this year, the film helmed by Atlee also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles.
Many users have praised director Atlee for portraying Shah Rukh in multiple avatars, making the film a mass entertainer like the Tamil filmmaker's earlier works.
Shah Rukh also took to social media to thank the audience for the overwhelming love for Jawan.
“Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so,” he wrote.
