'Jawan' Day 10 box office collection: SRK movie mints Rs 750 crore worldwide
The SRK movie is Bollywood's biggest opener and most of the records broken by Jawan are his own previous records
Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan which ruled the domestic box office in its first week is continuing its remarkable run on its second weekend too.
Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan said Jawan has bagged Rs 750 crore gross worldwide while another expert Taran Adarsh said the movie is the fastest in Bollywood to cross Rs 400 crore mark domestically.
The SRK movie is Bollywood's biggest opener and most of the records broken by Jawan are his own previous records, which were set by Pathaan.
On its second Saturday, Jawan earned approximately Rs 31.50 crore bringing its net domestic collection to Rs 440.48 crore while in the worldwide box office, it minted Rs 51.64 crore with a total global collection of Rs 762.7 crore.
Many believe that the movie will break the Rs 500 crore domestic ceiling on Sunday while also eying the Rs 800 crore mark globally.
Jawan drew a 37.29 per cent occupancy for the Hindi versions while the Tamil occupancy was 33.51 per cent and Telugu 29.40 per cent.
Globally, Jawan minted Rs 125.05 crore on Day 1, Rs 109.24 crore on Day 2, Rs 140.17 crore on Day 3, Rs 156.80 crore on Day 4, Rs 52.39 crore on Day 5, Rs 38.21 crore on Day 6, Rs 34.06 crore on Day 7, Rs 28.79 crore on Day 8, Rs 26.35 crore on Day 9 and Rs 51.64 crore on Day 10 bringing the total to Rs 762.7 crore, according to figures given by Vijayabalan.
Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the Atlee directorial also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in the significant roles.
