While Birthdays are usually a sign of ageing, in Rajinikanth's case, it's not him but the time. Fondly called Thalaiva by his fans, the southern superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating his 71st birthday today, December 12.

From dishing out creative posters,and tribute video to organising blood donation camps,Rajinikanth's fans leave no stone unturned to celebrate his birthday.

Rajinikanth has been a megastar in the Tamil movie industry since 70s, who has appeared in over 160 films,predominantly in Tamil cinema. He is widely regarded as ome of the best popular actors in the history of Indian cinema. His popularity has benn attributed to his uniquely styled dialogues and idiosyncrasies in films, as well as his political statements.

Rajinikanth is the only Indian actor to be featured in Central Board Of Secondary Education(CBSE) syllabus, in a lesson titled from "BUS CONDUCTOR TO SUPERSTAR".
