In Jee Le Zaraa, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal may share screen time
Along with Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt will play pivotal parts in the film
For the first time, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal may share screen time. Vicky Kaushal has been offered a role in Farhan Akhtar's upcoming film, Jee Le Zaraa, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt.
"The decision of approaching Vicky Kaushal to feature in the film is pure gold. Now add to that the plan is to cast him opposite Katrina Kaif, which will make Jee Le Zaraa the first film the couple feature in together. This in itself is a marketing dream and makes promoting a film that much more easier," a source told Bollywood Hungama.
"With Farhan Akhtar casting himself and now Vicky also being roped in that leaves just one male lead role vacant and casting one person is far easier than three, and that to in a film that is based on three female leads," Bollywood Hungama quoted the source as saying.
Farhan Akhtar will direct Jee Le Zaraa, which was penned by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The film will be co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and will begin production in 2022.
Last month, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal married in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in the presence of a select friends and family members. After two years of dating, the pair married.
Katrina Kaif was last seen with Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Sooryavanshi. She will soon be featured in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. She also stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in the film Phone Bhoot.
