Esha Deol Confirms Dharmendra Is Stable, Dismisses Death Rumours

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is alive and recovering at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, his daughter Esha Deol confirmed on Tuesday, putting an end to widespread rumours of his death circulating on social media.

Esha issued a statement urging fans and media outlets not to spread misinformation. “Papa is stable and under medical care. Please do not believe in fake news. Thank you all for your love and concern,” she said.

The 89-year-old actor, who was admitted to the hospital a few days ago for observation, is said to be responding well to treatment.

Earlier, Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini also shared an update, expressing gratitude to fans for their prayers. “Dharmendra ji is under observation and recovering. We are all by his side. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts,” she said.

Confirming similar details, a spokesperson for Sunny Deol’s team told media outlets that the actor is “stable and under observation” and requested the public not to indulge in spreading false news.

Hospital sources have clarified that Dharmendra was admitted due to mild health complications and that his condition remains under control.

The Deol family has urged everyone to rely only on official updates and avoid circulating unverified rumours about the veteran actor’s health.

Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most iconic stars, has enjoyed a career spanning over six decades, starring in classics such as Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke.
